Took my car in for the starter, they replaced the starter 400 bucks, got in the car and the brake pedal went to the floor, I went right back in and asked about it, the older guy there said the guys must have broken a brake line.. left it there, got called back a week later saying my rear brakes were shot and needed replaced, and that's why all the fluid drained out. They also tried to gaslight me into believing I told them I was leaking brake fluid when I brought it in. I had it towed there, only for the starter, from my workplace because they were the closest shop. My brakes were fine, but whatever, 900 bucks for just the rear brakes, which is nuts.. but i needed my car back. Got a flat a month later, took it to my tire place for the yearly alignment and replacement tires. They said they couldn't align it because it looked like someone beat the crap out of the rear or I got into an accident. I didn't get into an accident. The last time I did an alignment there (Belle Tire), they had no issues, and that had been maybe 8 months prior to this. Other mechanics have looked at it, and all came to the conclusion that this place, on Washington and Morris dropped the car from their ra

Rick charged me $3500 for a head gasket repair and told me I could drive my car to Florida with no issues if I wanted to. The same day I picked it up, I noticed issues with the car after the engine light came back on again. I brought it back in, but he blew me off and called me a rude name, doubling down that the car was fine. I nearly died the next day on the highway on my way to work after the vehicle broke down at high speeds on I-74. Rick told me to charge the shop to have the car towed back to the shop and called me a thief for following his precise instructions, ignoring our prior conversation. This turned into a months long ordeal in which Rick said he would try to work on my car's second repair. He would scream (not exaggerating) at me over the phone and cuss me out for asking about the status of my car over the next 3 months. If you value your car, your money, your time, or self-respect, please do not give this shop your business. They were horrible on all fronts and don't have good expertise when it comes to servicing a vehicle beyond an oil change, which I personally wouldn't trust them with either.

Rick put up with a lot from my extended warranty company, then when they stopped answering his calls, he came in almost $600 below his original estimate. I wish I'd realized a long time ago how good these guys are.
